Sieja’s Story
K9 Seija has officially been sworn in as a Police Trauma Dog. Seija is a nearly year-old female cream color Golden Retriever. She was donated to the East Lampeter Township Police Department by Alpha Pack Veteran K9s Unleashed. Seija’s handler is Detective Heather Waltman. What is a Police Trauma Dog? The purpose of a Police Trauma Dog is to fill a void most cannot, while healing the hearts of everyone they meet. Law enforcement is faced with countless traumatic events on daily basis, a Trauma K9 will be able to provide peer support, morale and promote mental health awareness internally for each agency, as well as provide emotional support for victims of crimes, and be utilized to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve. We want everyone to come and meet Sieja, so keep an eye on our social media and events page to see where she will be next.

Shoulder Strobes: https://www.guardianangeldevices.com/m/law-enforcement-safety-light/
Guardian Angel Devices has a multi-purpose strobe that can also be used as a shoulder mounted flashlight/redlight. Our target budgeted amount is $2000 for 15 units of the model we’ve selected. This will allow all officers to be mounted while some units are charging
Some of the most dangerous times for patrol officers is dealing with stopped vehicle in congested traffic areas. The ability to be scene by passing motorists is paramount, especially at night time. Shoulder mounted Red/Blue strobes can be worn by the officer and provide enhanced 360 degree visibility, while affording the officer a “hands free” flashlight as the same time.
